Pakistan’s fuel sales fell to 1.36 million tons in April 2026, declining 7% year-on-year and 6% month-on-month, mainly due to higher petrol and diesel prices, according to Topline Securities.
Despite the monthly drop, total fuel sales for the first 10 months of FY26 reached 13.8 million tons, showing a 4% annual increase.
Excluding furnace oil, sales stood at 1.22 million tons in April, down 11% YoY and 10% MoM, while cumulative 10-month sales rose 5% YoY.
Among companies, Pakistan State Oil saw sales decline of 1 % YoY to 5,828.000 tons, while Hascol Petroleum Limited recorded a sharp YOY 26% drop in fuel sales where its sales volume remained 35,000 Tons in April 2026 compared to 48000 tons for April 2025. Attock Petroleum Limited reported a relatively smaller 6% decline in April 2026 where its sale volume remained 119,000 Tons compared to 126,000 Tons in Apirl 2025.
