Five Pakistani technology firms participate in Abu Dhabi event, while IT exports to UAE rise to $536 million in FY2025-26
ISLAMABAD, October 24, 2026: Pakistan is showcasing its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and emerging technology solutions at AI Everything Global 2026 in Abu Dhabi, as the country strengthens its technology trade ties with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, five Pakistani technology companies are participating in the event, presenting AI-driven solutions in data intelligence, surveillance, sales and sovereign AI. The pavilion has been established under the auspices of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

The event brings together more than 500 exhibitors and 150 investors from 70 countries, providing a platform for technology companies to showcase innovations, engage with international investors and explore commercial partnerships.
Pakistan’s pavilion was inaugurated by Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s envoy to the UAE. During his interaction with participating companies, the ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening the country’s role in the rapidly evolving global AI landscape.
He also highlighted the need to invest in AI talent development, particularly by equipping young people with advanced skills in artificial intelligence, coding and digital technologies. Developing a future-ready workforce would be critical to improving Pakistan’s competitiveness and enabling domestic technology companies to benefit from emerging opportunities in the global digital economy, he said.
Pakistan’s participation is being facilitated by the Commercial Section of the Pakistani diplomatic mission in the UAE, led by Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, in coordination with PSEB and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.
Pakistani delegates are also engaging with international industry leaders and other stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities in AI-driven innovation, digital transformation and emerging technologies.
The participation comes against the backdrop of expanding technology trade between Pakistan and the UAE. According to the embassy’s press release, Pakistan’s IT exports to the UAE increased by 42 per cent to $536 million in fiscal year 2025-26, up from $376 million in FY2024-25.
The increase highlights the growing commercial relationship between the two countries in technology, digital services and trade, while providing Pakistani firms with opportunities to expand their international presence.
The embassy said participation in the global AI gathering would provide Pakistani companies with a platform to establish strategic partnerships, engage with international investors and explore new business and investment opportunities in the expanding AI ecosystem.
