Karachi: Pakistan posted a current account surplus of $1.07 billion in March 2026, according to figures released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.
With this, the cumulative current account balance for the first nine months of FY26 (9MFY26) shifted to a surplus of $174 million, a notable improvement from the $896 million deficit recorded during the first eight months (8MFY26).
